‘A Moment’ crowned Porto Short Film award

TEHRAN, Jun. 18 (MNA) – Naghi Memati’s A Moment has won best short film award during Porto7 Film Festival in Portugal.

Produced by Ardebil office of Iranian Young Cinema Society (IYCS), A Moment received its first international recognition.

Porto7 Film Festival in Porto was held in Portugal, June 8-12, in Forte de S. João Baptista da Foz – Teatro da Vilarinha, and is considered one of the most prestigious short film festivals of Europe.

The festival premiers short films under 20 minutes in length in fiction, documentary, animation, and video clip to boost short film production as connecting links among cultures of different nations. 

Apart from A Moment, Masoud Hatami’s ‘Survival’ and Saman Hosseinpour’s ‘Fish’ represented Iran’s cinema in this edition of the festival.
